UCAS handles the applications for teacher training programmes in schools and universities. You can apply to up to three training providers and it is recommended that you apply early to avoid missing out on a place.
There are two stages to the application process:
The application costs £24 and covers both Apply 1 and Apply 2.
When you apply via UCAS, you will need to write a personal statement detailing your experience, interest and motivations for becoming a teacher. You will also need to explain why you have chosen to teach the age range you have chosen.
