Building laboratory/work experience is a good way to find out about the world of work. There may not be opportunities in the NHS, so look for other healthcare science and biotechnology options.

Residential Chemistry Training Experience - for chemistry students who are interested in a career in pharmaceutical science. Based in Stevenage, it offers the opportunity to gain lab experience, coaching and training for interview preparation.
