The National Graduate Development Programme

The National Graduate Development Programme is a two year Graduate Scheme

During the placement you take part in a range of work placements within a local authority

People on this scheme are called National Management Trainees (NMTs)

Civil Service Fast Stream

The Civil Service Fast stream is a graduate programme for people who want to join the civil service

Salaries usually start at £25,000-£27,000 but can rise to £45,000 or more within five years

NHS Management

  • The NHS has a management training scheme for people looking at non-medical or caring roles
  • There a 4 specialisms to choose from, each of which includes a postgraduate qualification
  • You can choose from Finance Management, General Management, HR Management, Health Informatics Management
