NHS Scientist Training Programme (STP)

This NHS science training scheme is for postgraduate entry.

Trainees are employed by an NHS Trust and training combines work-based learning and a specifically commissioned and accredited Master's degree in a chosen pathway. 

Applications for the programme open in January/February each year.

GSK Residential Chemistry Training Experience

GSK runs an annual Residential Chemistry Training Experience for graduate chemists who are interested in a career in pharmaceutical science. It offers the opportunity to gain lab experience, coaching and training for interview preparation. The programme runs in early September each year. Applications generally open in February and close in June. There is no official webpage for the programme, but you can contact GSK for details and an application form:
